This is really comfortable, no smells, my 4-month son has been sleeping better since we got it about 2 weeks ago now. The mattress cover is nice and soft of the outside but mess proof on the inside, which for my LO is a must as he poops through everything!! Sooo, I've had to wash the cover and so far is holding up well. It's really easy to remove and put back the mattress sections thanks to the zippers going around on 3 sides. I have not traveled with it so no I have no comment on the bag. It fits snug on the Pack-n-Play by Babytrend (the one with the basinet and changing table)
