I am diabetic with a sweet tooth so I have to be careful. In the past, I bought what I thought was Stevia at the local grocery store only to find out it was mostly Dextrose with a little Stevia added. It turned out to be impossible to find actual stevia extract in my store. I turned to Amazon and found mostly dextrose but one or two actual stevia products. I decided on this one because it was 8oz and had no additives or flavorings. I am very happy with it. My only caution is to so give yourself a couple of weeks to figure out how much to add to your food deliver the sweetness you like.
