I volunteer at a no kill animal shelter and have sliced my hand open numerous times on the can openers we use to open the dog food. I have purchased numerous can openers, in hopes of finding a long lasting one that works. This is it! Every previous can opener has been made in china. This unit is hand crafted in the USA and it shows! It has by far out lasted other openers used at the shelter and works soooo much better. The engineering and craftsmanship is unparalleled. I highly recommend this and am purchasing several more to donate to the shelter. I know this seems like a lot of words praising a can opener but in all honesty for the price, you will never need another.
