Every couple of years my husband likes to buy us new, updated phones, so we have had a number of phone cases...This time, he is thrilled with his purchase. This is the BEST protection we have seen up to this point. The phone is nearly completely encased--without hindering immediate access to the camera, stylus or speaker. The volume, on/off button, headphone and internet ports are all totally covered... This heavy duty case comes with three layers of protection: There is a hard, white polycarbonate "skeleton" with an inner lining of foam (inside back section only). The front has a clear, built-in screen protector. The two pieces of this skeleton lock together on every side. A gray silicone, shock absorbing cover fits perfectly over the back and sides of this skeleton. There is also a black belt clip/holster that covers the entire face and cradles the sides. As part of the "Defender Series," this case has the most layers of any Otterbox and is made to protect a phone from dropping, dust and scratches.
