Not having any experience using a spray gun before, this gun made it very easy to accomplish spray painting my bookshelves. The guide on diluting paint and choosing the correct nozzle for my bookshelves were helpful. With a little help from a few DIY YouTube videos gave me the confidence to give this spray gun a try, which I am happy I did. It did take multiple coats and 5 days to complete, but was well worth it. The finish product looks amazing! Keep in mind the gun may "splatter" after each use. It's important to keep the nozzle wiped down to help prevent it. It's also important to make sure there are no clunks or bits in the bottle as this will cause the gun to clog. Just buy a paper strainer at home depot and you won't have to worry about filtering them out. Especially if the paint can is old and may have sat for a while. Cleaning the gun was fairly easy as well. I used soap and water and used the brush and needle included as well as a wire brush to scrub the paint off. I've used this spray gun to paint a room.
