I have two other salt lamps in my home and this one is by far my favorite! It is superior in both appearance and quality! The lamp weighs almost 7 lbs (6.9 lbs) so it is nice and heavy. It is durably attached to the sturdy and modern looking stainless steel base by 4 screws hidden under the base. My favorite feature is the dimmable touch switch! Just one tap turns on the lamp and another tap turns it off. You can also hold your finger on the switch to dim the light without completely turning it off. The lamp comes in a beautiful red box with wide red ribbon handles, making this lamp an easy and unique gift or if you love it as much as I do, you will definitely choose to keep it for yourself! The real beauty of salt lamps is how unique each one is. Size, shape, and color variances make them interesting and eye-catching. No two are the same so no matter how many you have, you'll always enjoy more! This lamp comes with (2) 15 watt bulbs. One is installed upon arrival and the other extra bulb is in a tiny box tucked inside some of the packaging (see pic). TIP: 15 watt bulbs are the tiny bulbs typically referred to as night light bulbs.
