We’ve gone through several coffee carafes in the past two years. Either they stopped keeping the contents hot, or they leaked, or the top broke. We were pleased with this carafe. One of the best things about it is the fact that the top easily screws on. With others, it was often a chore to close the top properly and required a lot of effort. Happily, the carafe keeps contents hot — not tepid — for a good 12 hours, so that’s a big plus. The design is attractive and the handle is especially well designed so that it’s easy to grip.
