Working from home and having a rambunctious puppy do not go well together. He is a sweetheart but has strong lungs. This product did the job immediately. I have already recommended it to 6 friends and they ordered it as well. the sound it emits is not crazy loud and before it does the vibrating portion the dog has to bark 3 times. at the 4th bark then it will emit the sound and then vibrate. In my dog's case it took just one time to feel the vibration for him to pause before barking more than once. I was really skeptical about buying this, but I am so glad I did. It REALLY works!!!
