This machine works fantastic (after you remove the roller guards). I have made tons of pasta with this. I ripped the guards off because if your pasta dough sticks, it goes under the guards and never comes back out. My solution - rip the guards off, works like a champ now. The dial is set backwards, you start at 7 and work your way down which is opposite of every other machine I have ever had. That's not a huge deal for me, won't be for you either unless you are OCD it will freak you out. Don't you just love homemade pasta? Cooks in 1 minute! If you haven't tried yet, what are you waiting for. Stop using dried hard pasta, it's garbage compared to home made. My daughter makes home made (healthy) ramen with this. The cutter has 2 different sizes so if you want Fettuccine you're in luck. This thing is a bear to clean when the roller guards are on, solution = take them off.
