★★★★☆
Great initial build quality and function. Seems durable.
Pros Quality construction (all metal as stated) Good flow (with restrictor removed) Extra length hose Cons No adjustability to spray pattern Maybe a bit heavy for the very weak (or very butterfingered) No filter screen. So far so good. Feels exponentially more durable than any mid-market system using plastic construction. Time will tell. Looks good. Nice finish. Metal is heavier than plastic. And not as grippy either. So if you have an extreme hand weakness or a tendency to just drop things, this might not be your best choice. I would have gone with an adjustable spray pattern model if I had been able to find one with similar specs. Don't care about "17 patterns" or whatever, but the ability to focus spray for faster rinsing would be nice. Not really a con, I knew this when purchased and as stated above. The water flow is good with my building's water pressure, at least with the flow restrictor removed. Problem is that the flow restrictor is the only "filter" of any kind in the system, and if you have grainy water (in my case rust and calcium bits from old pipes somewhere up the line) those grains will go directly to the shower head itself and clog the spray nozzles in short order. The spray nozzles do not appear customer-serviceable, so once they are clogged, you're done. I circumvented this by replacing one the standard rubber washers with a screened washer from an older shower head. This setup will catch the grains before they get to the head, so I can pull it a part and clean the screen every few months. Would recommend that modification to anyone who opts to remove the flow restrictor.
