After viewing photos and reading reviews of all the other very similarly sized travel duffels, I decided to purchase the Wandf. The nylon strap goes all the way around the bottom ONLY on the Wandf. This is important on a bag with such thin, lightweight fabric. Also, all the seams are reinforced on the inside with a type of fabric bias tape covering the seam raw fabric edges. I tested all the seams, all the way around....tried to find any tiny weak spots or holes...and found none. I haven't used this as an under seat airline travel bag, but I have confidence that it should hold up. It is the only one that is close to 8" deep....closest to the maximum measurements for Frontier airline "cabin bag". Update: I have used this bag as an underseat bag 4 times (Frontier and United) and have had no problem with the quality of it. The rectangle shape completely fills the underwear space and it is absolutely amazing how much will fit in it! It would be nice to have a shoulder strap on it, but that would add weight and it works fine as is. I did cut down a cardboard box with which to partially line the bag's interior walls. This gave it more of a square structure, otherwise it was rather bulgy. I only put 2 large pieces of cardboard inside, both lining the widest side walls; one of which also bent and supported the 8" floor width. I used the part of the box with the premade straight bend for this 1 piece and this helped it fold flat nicely when stored between trips.
