This thing sucks... up a lot of dirt!
I saw this at my local barbershop and I thought it was a pretty cool idea. I mean who likes the dustpan part of sweeping? Not me! So after a little research, I went for it. This unit is a game changer. I keep mine on automatic and just sweep my piles of dirt right up to it and it sucks it all up. No more bending over while trying to sweep and hold the dustpan at the same time.
I use it with a wide style swiffer and that makes sweep up a cinch. But the added bonus is, my kids love it! They used to fight over who gets to clean the table. Now they fight over who gets to sweep the floor because they want to be the one who gets to push it up to the Eye-Vac.
Quality points:
- Long cord. You can move it around to different positions and possibly different rooms.
- Powerful suction
- Good filters
- No bags
- Waste collection is simple. No real clog points that I seen.
- Cleans out easy. Just take out the little drawer thing and dump it in the trash.
- Cheaper than most vacuums. Great for a kitchen or maybe even shop/garage/storage room.
Cool points:
-The automatic sensor. Just push it close and it sucks it up!
-It also has a manual setting.
-Has a cool blue light that makes it look like it's from the future!
-Red light comes on when it's full.
-It has that "Hey what is that?" factor. You know, that quality that makes people ask about a product and where you got it.
Meh points:
-It is a little loud BUT not in comparison to a vacuum-- which is basically what this is (only cooler). Thus, the noise is to be expected, especially since this thing has a lot of suction (so far).
In conclusion, I really like it! I would recommend it if you have the space for something like this in your house and especially if you had hard wood floors.
