Michael Moore's documentary with its disciplined fidelity to the facts and events that preceded and followed the 2016 election conveys a compelling cautionary tale to anyone who is open to seeing and listening. In this work, Moore's editorial voice shows restraint and at times is ironic; but he lets the facts, words and pictures speak for themselves. Sure, some will argue that Moore as an experienced writer, editor, director can skillfully craft and/or construct the narrative. True, but then all a viewer has to do is the research for herself or himself into the supporting evidence. And so determine the credibility of Moore's message for oneself.
