I purchased the tote in deep purple, which turned out to be a lovely color. I use these both for groceries and for household items such as laundry and recyclables. The removable bottom reinforcement is covered (many come with a plan piece of plastic), which I liked; I remove these for washing, and it's nice to know which set of totes they belong to. The sizing is generous; I know already that I'll have to ask grocery packers not to overload them--they look strong enough to handle very heavy loads, but I'm not as sturdy. I find these more versatile, though, than my other grocery totes. They're roomy and comfortable for carrying things like recyclables around the house and yard. I also use them for non-grocery shopping. The base is wider/deeper than most totes, so it's easy to pack them.
