I have been using Lavilin since about 1980 and am overdue in writing a review for such an effective product. This deodorant is unlike any I have ever used. It has changed a little since 1980, but is still as effective. The directions now state to use it about every seven days. However, it can be longer than that depending on your body. I personally use it once a week whether I need it or not. My mother can go about two weeks, or more. This deodorant kills the bacteria that causes odor. You may perspire a little more at first, but this is because your pores are freeing themselves of the gunk from previously used antiperspirants... but you will not have odor. You can sweat like a pig and you will not have odor. When you get home take your shirt or dress off and hang it up. Your shirt will not develop underarm yellow stains that are left by antiperspirants. It will also save you tons of money on dry cleaning bills. It works even if you swim every day ... like I used to. Getting hot and sweaty will not affect Lavilin’s performance. Some people who have a severe odor problem often use the foot deodorant on their underarms since it is stronger. In the past, when I have run out of the underarm deodorant I have used my Lavilin foot deodorant. The first couple of weeks I used this product I took my regular deodorant with me to the office ... just in case. I kept checking but was quickly convinced it was working. This deodorant works and I will never be without it. I have not forgotten how deodorants and antiperspirants discolored my clothes and even caused deodorant odor. Now, my clothes smell fresh and clean. It is a relief to have the confidence to know you can raise your arm and not offend those around you. More importantly, we put enough poisons into our bodies. You owe it to yourself to give it a try. Don’t wait until you start having health problems to try and figure out why you are sick. Aluminum and harsh chemicals have a cumulative effect on your body and health. Start taking control now with a product that will keep you odor free. It is a Win-Win for everyone! PLEASE NOTE: 1. Make sure you apply Lavilin to the skin where the hair grows. Don't place it on top of the hair. The skin is where the bacteria grows and the odor begins. So wash really good and then apply to the *skin* where the hair grows. 2. When I was young I could get really ripe! I used the strongest antiperspirants on the market .... which unfortunately left me with additional complications since I had to deal with the additional odor from the antiperspirants, and the discoloration the antiperspirants caused to my clothes. 3. Using Lavilin changed everything... no more odor or discoloration. The only adjustment I had to go through was a short period of time when I sweated more than I normally did. This was my body riding itself from the antiperspirants clogging my pores. After a short amount of time the extra seating went away and my pores were clean and functioning normally.
