I have a small yard, but my neighbors have a huge live oak tree. This vacuum delivered as promised in removing them. It should be noted that it does a great job with leaves, but does not like acorns or twigs at all - twigs will clog the vacuum tube (easily fixed by power off, and shaking everthing out of the tube). While it is true that it works with wet leaves, if you do so, you will likely need to remove the vacuum tube and clean out the blower assembly frequently, the wet leaves get mulched and turn basically into mud that will fill up the housing and and stop the suction. I kept a large screwdriver handy to clean this mud-like mess. Remember to unplug the power cord before messing with the fan blade. It takes a bit of practice to get used to this vacuum. You have to learn to let the vacuum determine the pace. If you try to vacuum too much too fast, the the vacuum tube will get clogged. With all that said, I was impressed with the ease of removing the leaves, and with mulching it reduced my usual 10 bags of leaves to 5. I would definitely recommend.
