Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

My pantry is my current project (ie organizing and making it look nice). I researched many sites to find the best, and most cost effective, cereal containers. This set is by far the most inexpensive set I found that still had good reviews. A lot of the reviews mentioned that is was “too small,” but they are the perfect size for me. I have a typical builders pantry and these fit perfectly on the shelf. I’m also happy with the amount of food they hold. A normal sized box of cereal fits with some room to spare, and the family sized box *almost fits (see attached photo), but once a bowl or two of cereal is eaten I’m fine with pouring the rest in; that’s not a big deal for me. Any bigger and it wouldn’t fit on my shelf and would be difficult for my kids to handle. This also solves the problem of cereal going stale because my 8 year old rips the bag/box open or doesn’t store it appropriately. These are simple for him to use appropriately, and the opening is big enough to easily pour cereal. My only negative comment, and reason for four stars on ease to clean, is that there is a rubber seal that allows water around it when cleaning, but does not easily release it. Containers that I’ve had with this type of seal in the past have molded around the seal. With these I was able to easily remove said seal and clean it. The seal itself is easy enough to dry, but the small crevice where it fits in the lid has to air dry completely before filling containers to avoid mold growth. Aside from the type of seal, I am overall very happy with these! The reusable stickers and chalk pen were an added bonus. Would definitely recommend.
