This was a nice project to build together with my 9-year old daughter. She did a lot of the painting and I did most of the assembling. The kit goes together nicely with a hot glue gun and I didn’t want my daughter burning herself with the hot glue. The kit required a LOT of painting and took more time to build than I expected. The directions required a lot of concentration and the accompanying photos were small and hard to see. We skipped the roof shingles and just used paint since we spent so much time on the house already. It started to look reallly nice after the windows and window trim was completed. We added some battery-operated LED string lights and some Christmas decorations for Christmas!
