So I was quite disappointed at first because I couldn’t seem to keep the flame lit, it would start up and quickly fizzle out, assuming it was faulty I was quite upset the first night attempting to use it. A couple days later with a clearer head it occurred to me that it’s a “flame” and flames need oxygen, and I’ve been trying to use it with the lid on. So I kept the lid off and it started working without any problems. Unfortunately nothing in the directions mentions the lid, and the picture on amazon doesn’t show the lid, which is probably where most people’s bad reviews are coming from. So keep the lid off unless storing it somewhere and enjoy!
