THIS MACHINE ROCKS/WARRANTY IS FOR REAL!
THIS IS A TERRIFIC MACHINE, possibly the greatest thing since sliced bread and/or chili dogs. My original machine broke at one year. The warranty had just expired. The problem was not big; the handle separated from the body of the machine at the top of the body. I could have slapped a spread of JB WELD in there, put a bungee cord around it for 24 hours and it would have been fixed old school, but I contacted the company, and THEY STOOD UP AND TOLD ME TO SHIP IT BACK. They sent me a NEW MACHINE, and even included their superb new FILTER BAG and the BIG GREEN GLOVE. They sent me an entire new unit, all the packaging; the whole package. I shipped my old machine and they had a new one here in a week. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Let me add, I am an old timer, and I worked for nearly a quarter century in national sales. So I have a pretty good feeling for what quality product and customer service should be. I ran that original machine a lot. I did custom runs for friends with extra material. I've only run high quality CA trimmings, not straight buds, and the quality has been outstanding. Let me give you your first MAIDEN run and make it real simple. You will need ONE quart (32 fluid ounces) of quality peanut oil, a minimum of four tablespoons of lecithin, and the machine. Oh yeah, and you need 32 ounces of dry material. Just trust me. PACK a 32 ounce yogurt container with trim that you've taken the lumber out of. Now, put the quart of oil in the machine, then add the four tbsps of lecithin. You can go over, no need to be precise. Next, RUN THE MACHINE on the lowest heat setting, with just the oil and lecithin in it. They don't tell you to do this. They have you put everything in and just run it. Trust me, you will totally dissolved and distribute the lecithin in the oil. After about 20 minutes, stop the machine, and look inside. Your oil will have a creamy frothy tan look to it. Go ahead and turn your packed container of trim into the oil/lecithin mix. Stir it a bit with a spoon, get the dry material and the oil mixed. All of this simply makes sure you don't open it later and find a lot of stuff stuck on the sides. Now just put the thing on the second heat setting, 160 degrees. Run it EIGHT HOURS. Trust me on this. Oh yeah, put this thing out in your garage on top of the washer. It makes a lot of noise when the blender intermittently kicks in. I do my entire run on top of the washer/dryer with the utility sink next door. After 8 hours, just remove the top and carefully pour the liquid into the filter bag. I recommend that you place the filter bag on a screen or colander that sits high in a bowl, so the liquid will be BELOW the bag after pouring. You want to have a flat end wood kitchen utensil that you can rub back and forth over the remaining sludge in the bag, get the rest of the oil out. Then just take the bag and dump the remains, clean everything up with plenty of HOT water and SOAP. Use your oil to bake whatever you like. You will have nearly 100% return of your oil, but it will be very dark green and a little thicker! I'm going to state again; I worked in sales nearly a quarter century. I'd sell these things in a minute! i even called the company and volunteered to do a demonstration booth at the Emerald Cup. I want to work for these guys, because selling this great piece of gear is sure to be FUN. Next runs you do, you can migrate to UNSALTED BUTTER or COCONUT OIL. These are tougher to clean up, but just put the dish soap on the lower works of the head directly, rub it around real good and rinse with hot water. I did NOT mention carbolizing your shake. I have done that (see the pyrex bowl in the pic) in the oven prior to running in the machine, but I can't make any claims for whether it adds more of the good stuff in extraction. Either way, YOU ARE GONNA LOVE THIS MACHINE!! And I STILL WANT to do that demo show at the Emerald Cup! We could really move some machines!! I have fun two and four hour runs with various liquids, and the quality seemed to be excellent as when I ran eight hours. However, I think the longer run (four hours minimum) really breaks down the material the best. I like to START an eight hour run out in the garage before I go to bed, and when I get up in the morning it's about done and I finish it up. Anyone doubting how sturdy this machine is, check this; when I got my second machine, a friend gave me three small bags of various bits of shake he had around. It just filled/packed a 32 oz yogurt container and a little more. I took the big stuff out, but MISSED the twenty five cent piece in one of the bags! That quarter was in there the entire 8 hour run. I heard the machine make a snarling sort of sound within a minute of turning it on, and then it was fine. the two bits took a couple strikes, then just laid on the bottom of the machine's bucket. So when I dump the oil, there's a quarter in the bag. The quarter had three real good NICKS in it, but the BLADES of the machine are of such strong STEEL, that the softer metals of the quarter didn't even leave a mark. Don't try this at home, kids!...but KNOW that the machine blades are seriously strong. And for those of you who balk at the price, email me and I'll send you a coupon for $25 off your purchase. They make this offer to all their customers, so you can spread the good news around to your friends. That way you won't have to RUN ALL YOUR FRIEND'S MATERIAL when they see how cool your Magical Butter 2 Making Machine is and how EFFICIENTLY it works! BUY IT, YOU'RE GONNA LOVE IT!! I've been having a love affair for mine for over a year now.
