My left ankle was reconstructed in 2017 after a bad fall, I need compression for support, to control pain and for swelling, these are working. I have worn out several different ankle supports over the last few years. I look for something easy to put on , comfortable to wear and fits in a regular shoe. This does all that. The only issue is the top of the sock has a tight threaded seam that stops it from stretching as far as the rest of the sock. sometimes, I need that extra stretch.
