Just to clear the air about some of the crappy reviews and common complaints about this excellent Star Wars collectable: he's not app or remote controlled, no he doesn't move EXACTLY like BB-8 does in the movie (moves on a large roller underneath) however he is the largest and most screen accurate version of BB-8 we've seen so far. He's also the most affordable version and he does a few things better that the more expensive ones don't do. Number one he lights up when he talks and he also responds to your voice or music. Addressing another complaint that he's not all that responsive, you just need to be patient with BB-8 and also play with him in a relatively quiet area and speak directly into his speaker on the front which also acts as a microphone or his actual ear. It's definitely a leg up over the other two models available and it adds a sense of realism to the droid that they're seriously lacking. Just got one from my mom for Christmas a few days ago and its probably the coolest Star Wars collectable I've had the pleasure of owning since I used to have an ultimate FX lightsaber a few years ago. All in all I love him however maybe my only complaint might be that the two antennas that you pop into the top of his head are kinda fragile and I'm afraid they might bend with regular play or even snap off if you're not careful. I know it's only a toy but I think they should've been made of some harder rubbery bendy kind of material or maybe even metal instead of brittle plastic. May the Force be with you all!!
