I was prompted to write my review based upon the one below (by CrysCPD) with the pictures showing a scrawny tree--those photos and the review are deceptive and almost prompted me not to buy this tree. However, I read other reviews and watched the video (http://www.hayneedle.com/product/75ftpeprelitclearlightdownsweptdouglasfirchristmastree.cfm). When you pull the tree out of the box and stack the sections, it will look like the photos below. However, it is not an "umbrella" tree (ala The Grinch Who Stole Christmas), and you must "fluff" the tree and branches. My wife and I have been married for 22+ years and always had real trees. We liked the uniqueness, smell, and tradition of real trees. Also, being military and moving around the world I didn't want to drag another box and more weight. Now retired, I no longer wanted to haul a tree from the lot to home, have to dispose of it afterwards, get it through the door, put lights on it (dealing with sap and pokey needles), and have sap drip. Also, real trees have increased so much in price, it was time to try an artificial tree! I did a lot of research at various sites, and I ordered this one. We are very pleased with our National Tree product. After fluffing it looks fantastic (pictures before and after decorating). With my wife and I both fluffing, it took less than 30 mins to set up the tree from start to finish. I recommend gently removing the white safety tabs from the lights (in all sections) prior to fluffing. If you are looking for a quality artificial tree, from someone who is very pleased and previously only had real trees, I recommend this tree and this brand.
