The trick is NOT to leave it in more that 5 minutes no matter how nappy the area
This is the best texturizer I’ve used. The trick is to leave it in only for one or two minutes— five minutes for the most even if you feel that your hair needs more time to be processed.
As for me, I have a number of different textures in my hair which ranges from 3b/3c Thru 4a/4b hence the reason why I use a texturizer. Both my side burns and a small portion at the top front of my hair are 4a/ 4b whereas the rest of my hair is between 3b/3c. So, I use the texturizer to soften these area so they can blend in with the rest of my hair and it works fine. But as I said earlier, you need to leave it no longer that two to five minutes. It quickly softens my 4a 4b areas and even starts to bun if I let it go longer.
I hope this helps someone.
