This is a very comfortable recliner. I want to give some more information as I know when I was deciding I wanted to know these things: 1. If you are tall, this is a nice sized chair for you. My husband is 6'4 and sits comfortably in this chair. ( this was a major issue with other recliners we saw in store) 2. the swivel/rocking motion, makes a little noise, but I did not find it an issue. My newborn falls asleep without any issue. 3. When you recline, you cannot rock the chair... i would assume it is a safety issue. 4. The arm rests on the seat are not very high. So, if you have a heavy baby like we did, you may need an additional pillow to help support your arm for those long feedings/nights. 5. Closing the chair from the reclining position is sometimes difficult as the seat cushion comes out too much. So you need to really push your legs back in.
