These things are awesome. I made a vegan "chik'n" soup with them, and they really do taste like chicken. They are like tofu in the way they absorb the flavor of whatever you put them in (it doesn't taste like tofu), but the Soy Curls absorb flavor way better & faster than tofu does. If you don't overcook them, they have a nice chewy texture, reminiscent of chicken. If you do overcook them, they are still just as delicious, just softer in texture. I will be buying again & again. These are fantastic! I love that they are packed with protein as well. I highly recommend.
EDIT: It's now 4+ years later & I'm still cooking with these with regularity. These are by far my favorite vegan meat replacement.
