I want to start off by saying, we are a Dyson family, and I have never owned a Dyson that I didn't like. My husband accidentally got water into our old Dyson V6, and instead of sending it in for repairs, we decided to go ahead and upgrade to the V8. We could not be happier! In comparison to the V6, this model is amazing! The V8 has so much more suction power! We have 3 Siberian huskies in our house, which of course means a massive amount of dog hair. We have to vacuum every single day. We also own a Dyson 360 Eye that helps out as well. We don't even have a standard vacuum anymore! We clean up all our dog hair with the Dyson V8 and the Dyson 360 Eye. Emptying this thing is a breeze! I LOVE the new bin on this! Nothing stays stuck behind! Push a button and it slides everything off and out! It's so cool! No more trying to reach into the bin to clean it out! Pros: The charge lasts long enough to do the full house. It's very lightweight. There is no cord. The canister is bigger then the V6. Cons: You have to hold the trigger down the entire time. That's about the only downside. What are you waiting for? If you have pets (or even if you don't) you won't regret this purchase!
