I'm 205 and use these straps regularly. I never have any issues with comfort or questions about sturdiness. My biggest complaint is that the support padding which goes under the arms does not line up very well due to where the carabiner attaches to the opposite strap. The carabiner so close to the middle that you have to rotate the straps some to keep the carabiner from coming in contact with the hanging bar that the support pads are off center some. Granted, I didn't pay a huge amount for these. The star-n-stripes pattern convinced more than anything, so for the price they're not bad, and I'll use them until they do wear out, and then I'll invest a little more money in some better ones.
