I bought this ultrasonic pest repeller after seeing two mice in my apartment. I live in a large apartment complex with businesses and restaurants on the first level. Since the COVID-19 shut down all of those restaurants and businesses have closed (potentially displacing these little critters) also my apartments pest control company skipped a month in the treatments. Seemingly I freaked out and went a little psycho with cleaning/locking up every food item in site. I had never seen any droppings, possibly indicating they really hadn’t been in the apartment but quite possibly just passing through my utility closet. Either way after about two weeks, I still hadn’t seen mice or droppings but still was a little freaked out. Therefore I decided to give this little device a try. Even if it just eases my mind while I sleep or acts like a placebo effect! It has three power options, light, medium and high. I currently keep it on the medium (blue level) because that is the highest level it can go with being safe for humans. I tested the high (red) option just to see and it definitely emits a piercing sound (never needed to use this function). Needless to say I continue to not see any mice or droppings, unsure if that is the device doing its job or if in fact I really only had a rare sighting of these two little mice one night. Either way it’s helping me keep my cool! Will definitely be keeping it!
