These lights are MAGICAL! The description fits them perfectly -- They really do seem to "shimmer." If you're looking for run-of-the-mill, normal twinkle lights, then just go to Walmart. (I think that's why some people gave these bad reviews.) And I don't mean that in a bad way. These lights are just different, and I think they're MUCH more beautiful! I love that the twinkling looks completely random, instead of predictable like most strands. And the most amazing thing is that along with the twinkling, the entire strand very delicately, subtly, and slowly "pulses," which is what makes the whole thing shimmer. You don't even notice it at first. My husband and I were looking at them and wondering why they looked so different and beautiful, and those two reasons are why! I noticed a reviewer said they don't twinkle, but you just have to be patient. They look like a plain strand when you first plug them in, but then after a minute they begin to warm up and start blinking. I've been looking for the perfect delicate twinkle lights for years, and i finally found them! I'm attaching a video so you can see them.
