As a lot of you already know, I (and probably you) noticed there are 3-4 high-end balsamic vinegar brands on Amazon. Therefore, instead of buying the same one over again, I decided to buy all of them at once so that I can compare them. The 4 are: MiaBella, Villa Manodori Artigianale, Due Vittorie Oro Gold and this Giuseppe Giusti Gran Deposito. I used to live in Italy for a few years during my studies and even with my amateur food level, I know how to identify a good balsamic when I taste one. After a quick comparison between them, it wasn't hard to know which one is the clear winner. Long story short - the Giusti is on a different level. If you want to know more, here is my ranking... 4th place is MiaBella - it's not bad, but it's super expensive for what it is, it's doesn't compare in taste to the Due Vittorie Oro Gold and it costs 50% more. It even feels a little bit like a cheap glaze and not like a fancy balsamic vinegar. 3rd place is the Villa Manodori Artigianale - It's good, tastier than the MiaBella, but still expensive for what it is. 2nd place is the Due Vittorie Oro Gold, it's your entry-level to the balsamic world if you want to pay less than $30. It's very tasty and in my opinion, better than the Villa Manodori Artigianale and infinitely better than the MiaBella. So, 1st place and the unchallenged winner, who is in no doubt the absolute best, is the Giuseppe Giusti Gran Deposito. It truly makes you feel as though you are in Italy. The consistency is perfect and it's delicious. Its deep flavor is equivalent to a $100 balsamic vinegar. Do yourself a favor and buy this vinegar, simply the best! Enjoy, and I hope this helped.
