I liked this the ONE time it worked. It was left unplugged for one night and now will not charge at all. The blue light goes on steady and then...nothing. Been plugged in for 8 hours now. Steady blue light and then nothing! Probably have to return it. EDIT: the problem was I was trying to turn the unit on while it was plugged in. Even the Shark customer service guy didn’t suggest it. He went through all the trouble shooting tips and then advised me to return it for replacement. This unit WAS charged. It will not work while Charger is plugged in. Feeling not-so-smart. Revised to 5 stars.
