Overall this kit is excellent for learning. However, the tutorial needs close scrutiny when doing project. There is a major technical no no. in the image provided I have the datasheet symbol on left and project 07 on right. Looking at the project symbol of the PCF8591 you can see it is mirrored. However, the pinout is still sequential. So, if one is not careful they can easily wire this device improperly as I did. The result was burning out the I2C on my pi. This is simply a bad idea. If the schematic entry engineer wanted to align pins between devices, it would have been much better to pin out non sequential.
