It had been years since I had used Metamucil, and I was surprised by how easily it dissolves in water. The orange flavor is very pleasant, and the texture is smooth - as long as you drink it quickly! Do not allow it to sit in the glass as it will thicken pretty rapidly. I have one 8 ounce glass in the morning before breakfast, and another late in the afternoon before I eat dinner. This container is larger than I was expecting, and in the photo the one on the left is the 10 ounce I purchased in the store to see if the product would work for me. The container on the right is the one I got from Amazon. I'll keep the smaller one for travel, but the large one saved a lot of money.
