Best hose made to date!
I'm a landscaper and have tried every brand of hose on the market. They are all either too heavy (3/4" rubber), or they are just plain lousy. They all kink, get stiff, etc, etc. I tried this hose 3 yrs ago even tho it was 2x the cost of the other so called "no kink" hoses. Well let me just say: Once you've gone lime green....you'll never go back!!! This hose doesn't kink no matter what you do. I have 5 of them so far, and plan on buying more. They used to sell them at Menards, but not anymore so I'll have to order them from now on. They do lose their color but SO WHAT! Like that's a big deal! They just become less noticable. I had one male end fitting fail, but that was because I have very high water pressure in my house and I left the faucet on for several months before the hose started to enlarge at the fitting and eventually sprung a leak. The only replacement fitting that worked was a barbed hose fitting with a clamp tightened around it. But the hose isn't made to be used under these conditions. For this application I have several 3/4" rubber hoses that weigh a ton but will hold up to anything that I'll use. This is one of those rare products you find that you just love and won't buy anything else. I have a dozen older regular hoses that will all be replaced with Flexilla hoses as they fail (which they all will). This hose is the only true no-kink hose on the marked that I have found so far. The big box store hoses are all junk..I've tried them all. I've thrown out at least 20 hoses in the last 15 years because they leaked or kinked up so bad they were unusable. Buy a hose once for a little more $$, or buy them every couple of years for less and see which way is better for you.
