What if the baby is smaller than the door?
The gate is super-secure, seems to be well made. No issues at all on that front.
But... take a look at the video. It demonstrates why you need to take into account the dimensions of your baby and the dimensions of the pet door opening (6 3/4 in wide by 10 1/4 in tall). I mean, it isn't the product's fault. If I didn't want a pet door I wouldn't have bought this gate.
Anyway, watch those dimensions.
