I really like this thing. I think it is a bit overpriced, but I'm not going to mark it off for that. Unlike a microwave this heats with radiant heat from the elements. Because of this the exterior gets hot. A lot of people have complained about this, but I expected it because of the way it functions. It sits under a cabinet in my kitchen with about 8 inches of clearance above it. The exterior does get hot to the touch, so you should not use it for a storage area like some people do with their microwave. I haven't used my oven since I got this, and I rarely use my microwave to reheat stuff. Reheating items in the oven is a lot better than the microwave because the microwave will dry it out. All I have to say about it's functionality is that it works as advertised. Almost all appliances in the kitchen are dangerous, so this is no exception. Be careful touching the exterior Be careful opening the top vent - It will shoot out hot steam Make sure to use the top vent before opening the front door I have not used the rotisserie function, so I can't comment on that. One other thing to note, the timer is great but you can't just set the timer and forget it. I made that mistake with some chicken the other night. Because this thing is so good at retaining the heat the chicken continued cooking for a couple of hours after the timer went off. The chicken was still juicy and edible, but it had shriveled up quite a bit and had lost a lot of flavor. It tasted a little like it had been boiled since it sat in steam for so long. Thanks
