I was recommended by friends to buy an electronic earmuff for hearing protection while shooting. After much research, I decided to buy the matte black one from ACT FIRE. My first impressions were that they were strong and not flimsy. They will snuggly stick to your head but are still comfortable. The padding is soft and completely seals your ears. They are lightweight even after installing the batteries. The electronic cancellation is great- however I have never used electronic noise cancellation with other earmuffs so I can not compare. My favorite function is that you can connect your phone/music player so that you will be able to listen to music and still receive notifications. I will be buying another one for my guests that I bring to the range.
