When I ordered these dinosaurs, I was actually expecting them to be smaller. In this case, it was a pleasant surprise. I bought these for my two little boys who have recently developed a love for all things prehistoric. Ages 4 and 2 1/2, they LOVE these. They like to match each dino to its picture while Dad reads the name aloud. They terrorize their cars and Yo Gabba Gabba figurines. They march them across counters, tables, and anything that can be marched upon by a plastic dinosaur. Are they THE best quality toy dinosaur? HA! No, of course not. But it's just under 12 bucks for a dozen, so yeah. A dollar a dinosaur. Some of the paint work seems rushed and there might be slight irregularities on the finer parts (horns, tails, etc), but I had to REALLY look them over to find anything like that of note. The truth of the matter is, my kids love them, they are sturdy but not super hard, they're a darn good size - each one is about the size of my hand (pictured) and for a beginner set of educational toys, the price is perfect. Kids are happy, I'm happy - really. that's all that matters. Great purchase, would do it again!
