i have suffered w pain on the outside of my right hip when driving for the past year. it has become so bad, it will bother me within 20mins of driving. essentially this pain occurs because the seat allows my hip to sit at a lower height than my knees. this causes the hip muscles to relax meaning the weight is supported by the skeleton and its joints instead and that's not good. pros: this cushion nearly entirely eliminate this pain. when combined w a second cushion to further elevate my hip, my pain had ceased. i used these 2 cushions while driving for 5 days continuously and had no pain. however my pain returned whenever i forgot to sit on both cushions, while driving or in the passenger seat. product was useable right away. my wife also found it comfortable to use. cons: not thick enough. conclusion: consider getting 2 if you don't have complete resolution of the hip pain. i would definitely recommend the product and would purchase it again if needed.
