Works as advertised. Just plug it in and you have a cd/dvd drive for your new laptop! I also must mention I was very pleasantly surprised by the support offered by RIO. When they discovered I was having some challenges, they contacted ME! I've never had that happen before. They definitely earned five stars from me.
