Great Price and I do like the product
My homeopathic doctor advised me to take D-Ribose for health reasons. I must state, after taking it for about a week now, I am feeling much better. I’m not as tired as I was and it seems as though I am improving a little more each day. My energy seems to be returning to me once again. So I decided to do a little research into this little miracle in a bag. After doing a little research, this is what I learned:
Do you suffer from any of these symptoms?
Low energy in the morning, late afternoon or evening..., stiff hand, shoulder, knee joints..., or sore muscles anywhere on your body...,
Or do you suffer from any of these diseases?
Chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, coronary artery disease, or suffer from cramping, pain, and stiffness after exercise.
If so, then you just might benefit by taking this product. Why, you ask? Let’s continue shall we…
• Fatigue and exhaustion often occur as a result of depletion of the vital molecule called ATP in human muscle.
• Injured or heavily used muscle is particularly vulnerable to low ATP supply and is slow to recover those levels.
• A simple sugar molecule, D-ribose, is one of the key components of ATP. The more D-ribose that is available, the faster ATP levels return to normal.
• D-ribose supplementation has been shown to boost heart muscle function following heart attacks, and to improve blood pumping in people with congestive heart failure.
• Better heart muscle function after D-ribose supplementation can lead to better delivery of energy-rich blood to skeletal muscles, revving them up for increased activity.
• Increased ATP levels in skeletal muscle following D-ribose supplementation can help to reduce the muscle pain and fatigue that prevent people from keeping up their vital exercise regimens.
Cardiologists and exercise physiologists are increasingly turning to D-ribose as a means of “rejuvenating” their patients’ cardiac and skeletal muscles and improving their quality of life.
However, there are a few precautions one should be aware of and they are:
Pregnancy and breast-feeding: There is not enough reliable information about the safety of taking ribose if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Stay on the safe side and avoid use.
Diabetes: Ribose might lower blood sugar. When used along with diabetes medications that lower blood sugar, it might make blood sugar drop too low. It’s best not to use ribose if you have diabetes.
Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia): Ribose might lower blood sugar. If you already have blood sugar that is too low, don’t take ribose. Taking D-ribose with meals may help offset its hypoglycemic effect.
Surgery: Since ribose might lower blood sugar, there is a concern that it might interfere with blood sugar control during and after surgery. Stop taking ribose at least 2 weeks before a scheduled surgery.
All that being said, I highly recommend this product; but under the advice of your caregiver and remain under your caregiver’s care during the application of this supplement.
There is one thing you might consider, however; I recommend getting a different container to store your product (which is no big deal). People who have difficulty with their hands might not be able to correctly seal the bag. Also, if you’re like me, I don’t like dipping into a bag in order to use the product. I prefer to scoop it out in an opened container – more like a tub or canister. Just a thought.
I have given you my honest and unbiased assessment of said product and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to provide you with this review. I hope it was helpful in you making an informed decision. I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my review.
