I made installing this very easy on myself by reading reviews and addressing two weaknesses immediately. Bolts/nuts: The complaints about the seat moving back and forth are valid. There are two plastic arms with hooks on the end that lock the seat into the mounting base. One of those arms is just a tad longer than the other allowing a wobble on one side. I cut a thin piece of plastic, just thick enough to fill the gap on the loose side, between the seat and mount, and super glued it into place onto the seat. THEN I used the included bolts, threw the plastic nuts away. I added steel nuts to each bolt in addition to 2 flat washers and two spring lock washers to each bolt. After checking that the base and seat were properly positioned on the bowl, I tightened the bolts as much as I dared. That seat does not move at all. The water connections I made as TIGHT again as I dared. No leaks, this unit works great, I haven't used and toilet paper for days, and being this clean is very nice.
