This is the closest you are going to get to the previous, recently discontinued version of Lipikar. I used to get La Roche Lipikar from CVS, the one with the label in French and English. That was the best lotion ever. I savored and stretched my final bottle as long as possible. I bought two of the new formulations of Lipikar (English only label) and it was ok but not the same. I saw Lipikar Balm AP+ but didn't want to buy it in case it wasn't close enough. a visit to the La Roche website informed me that yes, my love, original Lipikar was discountinued January 2018, but to try Lipikar Balm AP+ to supplant it. The website was correct. This is ever so slightly thicker than original Lipikar, but it gives me the moisture and easy coverage that sinks into your skin without greasiness you can sometimes get with other lotions.
