hardware +10 software -1000000 excellent ergonomics on the handsets, big bright numbers, easy to hold. much nicer than my 10 year old uniden set that I upgraded to be able to use link-to-cell capability, which works better than I was expecting. good call quality even when the cell phone is set to use wifi for voice calls. so, why does the base unit lose the date and time (and probably other options that I've set) when there is the briefest power failure? the handsets have batteries. they can't remember the time so the base unit can query one of them after a power failure? and get this! there's no menu option on the base unit to set the time! you've got to press menu on any handset. then, you do NOT scroll through a list of options till you get to "date" or "time". Oh, no, you must remember the secret code #101 to get the date/time settings dialog. here's what I'd say to these software engineers, no matter how good this hardware is: YOU'RE FIRED!
