For those of you who have telescoping curtain rods and large installations, this won't work for you. However there is a very cheap solution to replace the rod with something that will work! Go to your local hardware store, Home Depot, Lowe's, ACE, etc. Look for 3/4" Electric Metallic Tube (EMT) Conduit. This replaced my rod, can be sprayed to match whatever you need, and works excellent compared to the telescoping rod I had originally, total cost of conduit, and finials was less than $20 for a 10' rod. Pricing this compared to OEM rods was $100-200. After swapping the rod the curtains have been working great. Highly recommend.
