Have been cutting my own hair for 15 years or more. Always bought clippers at Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, etc. First you get two pair of clippers which I didn't know why. One is for beard trimming and one for hair but both are sharp, cut well, cut clean, but don't cut you. Even at lowest setting I didn't have to worry about nicks or cuts but it trimmed hair exact. Heavy weight to these and the outer housing doesn't vibrate at all when turned on, not to mention they are quiet. If you notice the circular notches on the side this is how the clippers stay on setting 1-5 without any guards and stay where you set it. Without a doubt the best clippers I have ever use in my life and look better in person than the pictures on their own advertisement. If there was some way you could know quality (for sure) before purchasing I would have paid $45 easily just for the larger pair of clippers.
