Ok, so.. this thing is stupid. It's a block of foam. A bit sad that its even necessary, and that it's not something that is included with the car seat. But I guess not everyone would make use of it if they did include it. So that is one more thing to drive the price of the overall seat up, perhaps unnecessarily for some. And since you want to make sure your kiddo gets the best you're not going to just jam a phonebook under there instead. I mean, it's not like they unnecessarily jacked the price up. It's only $10! So I'm pretty sure this thing deserves five stars because it gave us a good 6-7 additional inches of room for the front passenger's seat to slide back. Now someone taller than 4'8" can comfortably sit in the front. Yes, you have convinced me. Buy this thing already if you have any doubt on whether you might need it or suffer the additional days with no use of your front passenger seat while it's being shipped to you. Or worse, if its on backorder, might as well just go buy yourself a new car.
