I have a legendary love of Buffalo Wings. It is known. Let me tell you, you cannot make decent buffalo wings in an oven or on a grill. It goes without saying the gifter really hoped Mr. and Mrs. Philyodaddy both put on the freshman 15. I could not be more elated. Well... I could not be more elated at the wonderful food this thing cooks. I am certainly not elated about my pending weight gain. I guess my Adonis-like physique could only last so many years. Sorry ladies, I'm married, maybe you hadn't figured that out. Yes, she is very lucky, I know. Annnnyway, I threw in some wings (no flour, that's for losers) in at 360 degrees in peanut oil for 11 minutes. I then tossed them in a mixture of franks red hot and butter. I then ate them as fast as humanly possible. Rinse. Repeat. That line (rinse, repeat) actually makes sense because the WPD280PDF,BS is actually dishwasher safe! OMG. Yes, I know. Incredible. Non-sequitor: this review has included 3 things that make every single thing taste better: a deep fryer, hot sauce, and butter. Possibly in that order. Debateable. My one complaint would be that the device requires quite a bit of oil, and probably even more than the 1 gallon that is recommended. For those of your curious, I've also made mozz sticks, corndogs, onion rings, and cheese sticks with it. All tasted good. and by "me" I mean me and the duke of portland who also has a seeming fat-wish. Currently $90, this is great value. I registered for it when it was substantially more than that, and fully believe it is worth multiples of that price.
