easy to use and accurate!!
it takes two AAA (not included) which would be the only prep you need.
the mechanics are pretty simple, it turns off by itself pretty quickly, and it can store the last 100 scans or something.
I've tested it against my thermal scanner i have at work multiple times and can confirm it is accurate. 5 stars
